Art installation commemorates the fall of the Berlin Wall

More than 100,000 strips of canvas flock over the 17th June street in Berlin to commemorate the Peaceful Revolution and the fall of the Wall 30 years ago. About one third of the strips are labelled with individual messages of hope and positive memories. The installation by the artist Patrick Shearn called ‘Visions in Motion’ creates a peaceful environment inspired by the flocking behaviour of birds or fish and invites visitors to gather together for dialogue.
