Winning back public space for the morning coffee

Although it is very early in the morning in Manhattan, New Yorkers are already sipping their very early coffee as part of a ritual.

This public terrace is located on a former road intersection in the Meatpacking district and it is a very good example of how some cities have been brave enough to claim back what once belong to them. We need the city as a meeting place.
