Grand Gestures in Public Spaces Create a Positive Dialogue

Grand gestures in public spaces create a positive dialogue

Chicago artist Matthew Hoffman’s public installations that simply read “You Are Beautiful” beautify neighbourhoods around Chicago and beyond.

According to ‘You Are Beautiful’ team, the public reaction to the installations have been very positive: ‘Once you put something out in the world, it is fascinating to see what happens. When the phrase You Are Beautiful is integrated into a city or community, it creates an immediate positive dialogue’.

The project’s team has collaborated with major cities & organizations around the globe, on both temporary & permanent installations. It is their mission to leave the world a little better than when they found it.

‘You are beautiful’ sign spotted in Chinatown, Chicago.
