The Housing Fix

A series of dialogues with experts from cities around the world exploring affordable housing solutions and innovative ways to tackle the housing crisis.

The Housing Fix

We have launched the series The Housing Fix, specifically designed to address one of our goals of narrowing the disconnect among researchers, policymakers, government officials, and grassroots groups. This series features dialogues and debates among experts and activists in cities around the world, focusing on affordable housing solutions and the policies shaping the housing crisis.

We have developed a roundtable format where three or four individuals engage in informal, solution-oriented discussions. Their analyses provide policymakers and decision-makers with best-practice examples and real-life, local solutions for affordable housing. The series is valuable for understanding what works and what doesn’t in different city contexts, as we learn from past failures elsewhere, enabling well-informed policymakers to make the best decisions.
